Who are you?
A small referral service that runs this website and a phone line for homeowners in Naperville and nearby towns. We are not a restoration contractor, plumber or insurance company.
We built this site because the moment you find water in your house is a bad time to sort through a page of search results. The guides here are written to be useful whether or not you ever call: what to do first, how to stay safe, what the industry terms mean and what insurance usually does. Where we state a fact, we took it from a public source such as the EPA, the CDC, the City of Naperville or the National Weather Service.
What happens when I call?
You call (630) 394-5205 and press 1, and your call is connected to a local water damage restoration company that serves your area. You talk to them directly.
That company will ask about the source of the water, how much there is and how long it has been there. They decide whether and when they can come out, and they set their own prices. You are never obligated to hire them. If they are not a fit, you can hang up and call someone else.
Does it cost me anything?
No. The call and the connection are free to you. We are paid by the restoration companies, or the call networks that work with them, that receive referrals. That is how this site is funded.
You pay the company you hire for any work you agree to, or your insurer pays it under your policy. We never take payment from homeowners.
Who does the work, and who is responsible for it?
The restoration company you hire. It is responsible for its own work, pricing, licensing, insurance and warranties. We do not supervise jobs or guarantee results.
Treat any company you are connected with the way you would treat one you found yourself. Ask to see their license and insurance, ask whether their technicians are trained in water damage restoration, ask for a written estimate before work starts, and ask how they document drying. Our checklist for choosing a company has the full list.
Where do you help?
Naperville, on both the DuPage County and Will County sides, plus the nearby towns of Aurora, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Lisle, Wheaton and Warrenville.
The company you are connected with confirms whether your address is in its service area. Start with the Naperville water damage guide, or see Aurora, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Lisle, Wheaton and Warrenville.
Is my call recorded?
Calls may be recorded for quality and to confirm that referrals were made. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call.
See our privacy policy for how we handle call and form information.
